About Me
Hi, I’m Amelia! I’m a third-year Primary Education with QTS student based in Cardiff, with plenty of experience caring for children aged 0–11. I’m first-aid trained and hold an enhanced DBS check, so you can feel confident that your little ones are in safe and caring hands.
I’m passionate about childcare and would love to support local families by providing reliable, nurturing childcare and helping make family life that little bit easier. I enjoy getting children involved in fun and engaging activities, particularly arts and crafts, reading and languages, and would love to incorporate these into our time together!

My Experience
As a third-year Primary Education student working towards QTS, I have gained valuable experience through school placements and babysitting. I have developed skills in supporting children’s learning, managing behaviour and creating a safe, caring and engaging environment. My Level 5 TEFL qualification has also strengthened my understanding of language learning. I enjoy helping children learn and grow through fun activities, reading, arts and crafts, and creative play.
My Qualifications
I am a third-year Primary Education student working towards QTS and hold a Level 5 TEFL qualification. I have an enhanced DBS check and am first-aid trained. I have also completed safeguarding training and St John Ambulance e-learning, helping me develop my knowledge of child safety, wellbeing and emergency awareness.
My Availability
As a full-time student, my availability is primarily in the evenings and overnight. I’m happy to discuss specific days and times to find an arrangement that works best for your family.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
My rates start at £12 per hour for one child, with a small increase for additional children depending on their ages and needs. I’m happy to discuss rates for overnight babysitting and regular bookings to find an arrangement that works for your family. I strongly believe that childcare should be accessible to all.
