About Me
I grew up in Norwich, Norfolk. I’m one of three, I have a younger brother and an older brother, and I grew up surrounded by lots of pets, I love being busy and working in an environment where everyday is different. My first job was babysitting in my neighbourhood, and I absolutely loved it. I graduated from Bristol School of Acting in 2023 and am keen to pursue a career in that industry whether it is on camera or behind the scenes, I’ve recently moved back home and am looking for a job I enjoy while figuring out my future plans.
My Experience
I started babysitting when I was 15 years old I would be asked to come in 2x a month by the families I babysat for. I looked after 2 siblings, an 8-year-old and a 5-year-old, and duties included playing games with them, keeping them entertained and then putting them to bed and waiting for their parents to come home. I’ve also looked after much younger children, a 2-year-old, and my responsibility with her was to stay in the house at night while her parents were out just in case she needed me. I spent at lot of time with my family friends twin boys, who just turned 4. Duties with them mainly include playing with them outside and a lot of conflict resolution. And most recently I was a part time nanny for 8 months with a family who had two boys that were 7 years old and 9 years old and duties with them included making breakfast, playing games, getting ready for school and walking them to school, picking them up from school, walking home with them, supervising screen time and making dinner.
My Qualifications
I have pervious experience with childcare as I spoke about before, I am hoping to start a virtual course on childcare in the near future so deepen my knowledge and training. I have a DBS check from a previous nannying job as well as paediatric first aid training qualification.
My Availability
My schedule is completely open and I am very flexible.
