About Me

We’re a young, loving family who recently moved from California to Edinburgh and are excited to settle into our new life here.

My husband and I both work, with me working remotely for an American company, which sometimes means working evenings. My husband splits his time between Edinburgh and California for work, so we’re looking for a reliable, caring and trustworthy childcare provider who can become a familiar and positive part of our family’s life.

Our son, Asaiah, is truly the light of our house. He’s funny, silly, affectionate and full of personality. He brings so much laughter and love into our home, and we’re looking for someone who will enjoy getting to know him, make him feel safe and comfortable, and care for him with the same warmth and kindness we do.

As we settle into life in Edinburgh, we would love to find someone dependable who feels like a natural fit for our family and who we can build a lovely, long-term relationship with. We really value kindness, patience, trust and open communication, and hope to find someone who will become a trusted part of Asaiah’s little world.

My Requirements

Hi! I’m looking for an experienced, fully vetted babysitter to look after my three-year-old son in our home in Edinburgh, either He will most likely be asleep for the all of the booking, so I need someone comfortable supervising a sleeping toddler, following his bedtime routine and responding appropriately if he wakes up.

Could you please let me know:

* Whether you have anyone available on either evening
* The total cost for the six-hour booking, including any late-night transport fees
* Whether the sitter has a current PVG check, verified references and paediatric first-aid training
* Whether they have experience caring for three-year-olds

I’m happy to consider either evening depending on availability. Thank you!

Amazing and truly wonderful babysitter

Bev was absolutely wonderful! She stepped in at the very last minute to babysit my son, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was so understanding, accommodating and genuinely helpful. Even though my son was already asleep for most of the evening, she was incredibly intentional and took the time to ask questions about him, his routine and his needs. It was clear that she genuinely cared and wanted to make sure he was comfortable and well looked after. Everything went smoothly, there were absolutely no issues, and I felt completely at ease. I’m so grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to any family looking for someone caring, reliable and attentive. We would absolutely love to have her again!
