About Me
I am a highly experienced and passionate Early Years Educator with over 10 years of experience supporting children’s learning, development and school readiness across the UK and internationally.
I hold a BA in Early Childhood Education and an MEd in Education Management and Leadership. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong understanding of how young children learn and how to create engaging, nurturing and stimulating learning experiences that help every child reach their full potential.
I specialise in early reading, phonics and early mathematics, with particular strengths in helping children develop the foundational skills they need to become confident and successful learners. I have extensive experience supporting children to recognise letters and sounds, develop blending skills, read words and sentences, improve their reading fluency and develop a genuine enjoyment of reading.
I am equally passionate about early mathematics, supporting children with number recognition, counting, number formation, addition, subtraction, patterns and early problem-solving through practical, hands-on activities.
My approach is patient, encouraging and tailored to each child’s individual needs and learning style. I believe children learn best when they feel happy, confident, supported and motivated. I make learning enjoyable through play-based activities, practical resources, repetition and positive encouragement.
My Experience
I have experience supporting children with different abilities and learning needs, including children who require additional support to build their confidence and make progress. I can also help children prepare for school, strengthen their Reception and Key Stage 1 foundations, consolidate classroom learning and develop their independence.
Whether your child needs a little extra help with phonics, reading and mathematics, support with school readiness or simply a caring and experienced educator to support their development, I would love to help.
My aim is to make learning enjoyable, build confidence and help every child achieve their potential.

My Availability
Availability: I am available for evening and weekend childcare, private learning support and tutoring, as well as during school holidays and half-term breaks.
