About Me
I am a 21 year old student, grew up bilingual (English and German!). I have spent 6 months in total working with and supervising kids (aged 4-5 and 6-9). My strengths with kids are patience, kindness and creative expression: my greatest strength is offering a child the space to be comfortable being themselves and expressing themselves. I am very imaginative and enjoy playing make pretend as well! I am very careful, and have a soft and patient approach when it comes to disciplining and handling behaviour. I think everything can be handled with communication! :) Personal interests include: songwriting, music production, dancing, drawing, singing, working out & psychology. My German studies - equivalent to A levels - were completed in psychology, sociology and pedagogy.
My Experience
3 month work placement in a kindergarten assistance/supervision of a group of 13 children aged 4-5, and 3 month work placement in a Montessori primary school assistance/supervision of a group of 20+ children aged 6-9.
My Qualifications
Both 3 month work placements were in pursuit of the German equivalent to A-levels (Fachhochschulreife) in the area Social Welfare, with focus on the subjects: pedagogy, psychology and sociology.
My Availability
Looking for Part-Time hours, preferably under 30 hours p/w. Monday and Tuesdays available from 15:00. (Could vary slightly based on distance of home)
My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
- Nannying from £12.00 per hour (net)
