Melissa
Part Time Nanny Job in Winchester
About Me
I’m a working mum to two lovely girls, aged 9 and 6, both attending primary school. We’re a friendly, active and welcoming family based in the Winchester area.
The girls are bright, sociable and enjoy a range of activities, including sports, music, reading and creative play. My youngest daughter has mild cerebral palsy, so some awareness of additional needs would be helpful, although she is very independent in many respects.
I’m looking for someone kind, reliable and engaging who can become a familiar and trusted presence in our family.
My Requirements
I’m primarily looking for reliable before-school childcare, ideally Monday to Thursday, to help with the morning routine and school drop-off.
The start date is Monday 16th November 2026, but I would like to arrange for the successful applicant to meet the girls beforehand, spend some time getting to know them and become familiar with our morning routine.
After-school care may occasionally be required, although this is less of a priority. I would also be interested in some ad hoc evening or weekend babysitting, depending on availability.
The role would involve helping the girls get ready for school, preparing breakfast if needed and ensuring they arrive at school safely and on time.
Ofsted registration is essential, as I intend to claim childcare costs through Universal Credit. Applicants must already be registered and able to provide the necessary documentation.
Ideally, I’m looking for someone experienced, warm and reliable, with a full driving licence and access to a car.
I’m happy to discuss hours and arrangements with the right person.
