About Me

We're a friendly little family looking for a caring and reliable childminder for our little boy.
I'm a first-time mum and spend most of my time with my son, so we're very close. He'll be turning 11 months old in February. He's a curious little boy who loves looking around and taking everything in. He's very observant and seems fascinated by anything new he sees. He's also a little shy around people he doesn't know and can get upset if someone unfamiliar tries to pick him up. He's very attached to me at the moment, so separation can be difficult for him. He just needs a bit of time, patience and reassurance to get comfortable with new people.
We love spending time outdoors, going for walks and exploring new places. I also try to introduce him to different activities and experiences. We go to our local children's centre for sensory activities, singing and other group activities. He's still getting used to the people there and the new surroundings, so I always encourage him gently and let him take things at his own pace.
I enjoy cooking and preparing healthy, nutritious meals for him, and I like making sure he has a balanced diet.
I'm hoping to return to work in February, which is quite a big step for us. As a first-time mum, I won't lie, I'm feeling a little anxious about leaving him as he's used to having me around most of the time. That's why finding the right person is so important to me. I'd love to find someone kind, patient and understanding who will help him settle in gradually and make him feel safe and happy.
Good communication is really important to me, and I'd love to build a trusting relationship with our childminder. I'm simply looking for someone who will care for him with kindness, support his development and help him grow in confidence.
We're based in Speke and I drive, so I'm happy to look at childminders in surrounding areas too.
