My Requirements

We are looking for a caring, understanding and engaging registered childminder for our 4-year-old son, Zac, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8:30am–5:00pm as parents work full time in professional jobs.
Zac is a very active, bright and curious little boy who absolutely loves being outdoors, exploring and visiting the park. He is exceptionally intelligent for his age and has a real thirst for learning. He enjoys being challenged, stimulated and engaged in activities and tasks, and really thrives in an environment where he can explore his interests and develop his abilities.
Zac narrowly missed the school starting-age cut-off by just two days and is very much ready for the next stage of his learning journey.
Zac has additional learning needs, and we are currently awaiting an autism assessment. Unfortunately, his current nursery setting has not been able to provide the level of understanding and support he needs, and we feel that a different, more nurturing and flexible environment would be much better suited to him at this stage.
We are therefore hoping to find a childminder who is patient, understanding and experienced in supporting children with additional needs, while also recognising and encouraging their individual strengths and abilities.
Most importantly, we would love to find someone who will embrace Zac's curiosity, keep him engaged and challenged, encourage his love of learning and provide a happy environment where he can feel understood, supported and thrive.
We are looking for the right person and the right environment for Zac, rather than simply childcare. We would love to hear from anyone who feels they could be a good fit for our little boy.
