Live Out Nanny Job in London
About Me
We are an are super social, friendly and very family-orientated household. We have had our current nanny for two years and are sad to see her go (she is returning to Australia as we always knew she would!)
We massively value the role of a nanny, and love working collaboratively with our current nanny as part of the family team.
Laughter, playfulness and an enthusiasm for learning are important to us. We love leaning into our children's interests and encouraging them to explore, learn and have fun.
We follow a gentle parenting approach while recognising that clear boundaries and limitations are important too. We place a big emphasis on understanding and supporting our children's emotions, particularly during more challenging moments.
We are looking for a long-term nanny who genuinely loves working with children and wants to become a valued part of their family.
My Requirements
• Caring for the health, safety, and wellbeing of our children B5 & G2
• Cooperating with the family to achieve a healthy and safe environment for yourself and others
• Preparing nutritious meals for the children
• Arranging and supervising activities that are age-appropriate
• Keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean and tidy
• Laundering the children’s clothes and bedding
• Taking the children to pre-arranged activities, play dates, birthday parties, etc.
• Being part of and contributing to a respectful, warm, and caring home environment
• School pick ups and occasional drop offs
• Daily reading with the children
• Help and supervision with homework (knowledge of phonics and Y1 maths / willingness to familiarise)
We are happy to discuss the exact hours in more details, but broadly need something that works for the term time and holiday hours, but averages out across the year at approximately 37-40 hours.
Term time:
3 x 14:00 – 19:15
1 x 14:00 – 22:00/22:30
1 x 7:30/09:00 – 14:00 – 19:15
Holidays:
5 x 08:00 – 18:30/19:00
