I'm a friendly, outgoing and active person who loves keeping busy. I'm a big believer in having fun, getting involved and making the most of things.
I'm also a mum to a 15-year-old, so I have plenty of real-life parenting experience and understand just how important it is to find someone you can trust with your children.
Outside of work, I play rugby, which probably says a lot about my personality! I enjoy being active, having a laugh and getting stuck into things. I'm easy-going, approachable and always happy to have a bit of fun.
I like to think I'm someone who's easy to get along with, dependable and brings a positive attitude wherever I go.
My Experience
I have over 15 years' experience working with children across a variety of settings, including schools, children's homes and within the community. I've supported children of different ages, abilities and backgrounds, giving me a broad range of experience and a good understanding of individual needs.
Throughout my career, I've developed a good understanding of how children communicate, learn and develop, and how important it is to adapt your approach to suit each individual child.
I have extensive experience supporting children with additional needs and have undertaken training in areas including Autism, sensory needs and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
I'm a big believer in inclusive childcare and making sure every child feels comfortable, understood, valued and able to enjoy themselves in their own way.
I always aim to create a positive, supportive and fun environment where children feel safe, happy and free to be themselves.

My Qualifications & Training
- First Aid trained
- Support Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
- Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) training
- Autism awareness and understanding training
- Sensory needs training
- Experience using a range of communication methods, including British Sign Language (BSL) and Makaton.
Alongside my formal qualifications, I have over 15 years of practical experience working with children in a variety of settings.
My Availability
I'm mainly available at weekends and during school holidays. I'm also happy to consider occasional evening babysitting during the week, depending on availability.
I'm happy to discuss individual requirements and arrange something that works for both families.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
My rates start from £13 per hour for one child, with additional charges for extra children or specific requirements.
I'm happy to discuss individual arrangements with families to find something that works for everyone. Weekend, school holiday and evening babysitting available by arrangement.
