About Me
Hi! I am 23 years old from New Zealand, although I was born in London. I absolutely love working with children and families, and am looking for a live in Nanny position in London, where I can further expand my experience and provide a personalized service to a young family needing a little extra help! I would describe myself as warm, gentle, compassionate and dependable. When working with children I really value patience, self expression, creativity, and routines. In my spare time I love music, arts, hiking, traveling, cooking, working out and many more hobbies! I hope to find a young family who are caring and kind, and willing to open their home and communicate clearly and honestly with me. At this stage I am focused on finding a family with preschool & or infant children, as that is where the majority of my experience lies! I look forward to hearing from you!
My Experience
I have a degree in Psychology, and have worked for over a year as a full time Kindergarten teacher with children aged 6months- 6years, although the large majority of my time was spent with the Toddlers (aged 18 months- 2.5 years). Outside of that position, I have eight years of casual babysitting experience for children aged 2-12, and also held a part time position for two years where I taught piano to children aged 5-12. During my recent travels through South East Asia, I also spent a few days volunteering at a school in Laos, where I helped local children practice their english skills.
Additionally I completed a six week placement at a local kindergarten during high school, and I am also an older sister!
My Qualifications
I have a Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Psychology (focusing a lot on child development)
My Availability
I am looking for a live-in position in London from the end of November. Happy to work between 30-45 hours per week
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
