About Me
My name is Pelin and I am a first year student at Newcastle university living centrally near Richardson Road. I am currently studying chemical engineering and in my free time, I love being active and creative. Alongside working in a school, I have a little sister in Year 6, so I am very used to the daily routines, energy, and interests of primary school-aged children! I practice Muay Thai, enjoy yoga, reading, and arts and crafts (which I love introducing to kids!). Because I live right next to campus, I am very flexible for families in the local area, including Jesmond, Gosforth, and Spital Tongues.
My Experience
I worked in Mayfield Primary school, Cambridge, during my gap year at the afterschool club, which has provided me with valuable experiences in making sure there is a fine balance between safety and fun! Through this role, I looked after groups of children, planned engaging activities, and gained a strong understanding of childcare safety and safeguarding.
My Qualifications
Trained on-the-job at a primary school after-school club, where I learned firsthand how to manage groups, plan activities, and maintain a safe environment.
My Availability
My availability is highly dependent on my timetable for the week, however it doesn't change a lot so the following availability should be reflective of most weeks.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.50 per hour
Late night rates will increase accordingly (£14.00 per hour min). Open to discussing flat or adjusted rates for recurring after-school care or pick-ups.
