Nanny in Cambridge (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
Weekday Daytime Nanny
About Me
I am a 24-year old Canadian expat living in Cambridge with my husband who is studying here. I am an experienced nanny seeking part-time weekday work for a family in the Cambridge area. I love spending time outdoors, gardening, cooking, knitting, and sewing. I was homeschooled and come from a family that really values connection, creativity and holistic health. I have a high value for early-childhood learning, play, and connection and love to engage with toddlers by meeting them where they are at as apposed to trying to get them to behave like tiny adults. I believe playfulness is the best way for us to connect to little ones and this is very clear in how I interact and care for children. Some families I have worked for have referred to me as their Mary Poppins nanny!
My Experience
I have 4 years of private nannying experience with children from ages 0-8yrs and 10+ years of casual babysitting experience. I have cared for children with a variety of behavioural, physical and health challenges including high needs, disability, and cancer diagnosis. Prior to this I have worked as an Educational Assistant in primary schools, working with children ages 4-12. I also have nursery and group childcare experience as a volunteer in a church.
My Qualifications
4 years of private nannying experience with ages 6m-8yr. Infant and child first aid training, labour and postpartum doula certification.
My Availability
I am seeking 20-30 hours per week and have availability between 8am-5pm on weekdays (possibly starting earlier or ending later if its the right fit). I hope to find a schedule that is consistent week-to-week but have I can have some flexibility around extended/shorter hours too.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £17.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
