My Experience

I have been a mum for 20 years, giving me a wealth of hands-on experience in caring for children, understanding their individual needs and supporting them through different stages of their development.

Alongside my personal experience, I hold a qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, which has given me additional knowledge and understanding of children’s education, development and individual learning needs.

I have a genuine passion for working with children and providing a caring, nurturing environment where they feel safe, secure, valued and encouraged to be themselves.

I understand the importance of safeguarding, promoting children’s welfare, building positive relationships with families and creating an inclusive environment where every child is welcomed and supported.

I love creating opportunities for children to learn through play, explore their interests, develop confidence and independence, and most importantly, have fun!

At Willerby Willows, I want every child to feel at home and every parent to feel confident that their little one is in caring hands.

* Paediatric First Aid – Level 3.
* Safeguarding Children training.
* Supporting Teaching and Learning – Level 2 qualification.
* Safe Administration of Medication training.
* Local Authority Childminder Preparation Training (preparing to become a registered childminder).

Practical Experience

Alongside my formal qualifications and training, I bring 20 years of personal experience as a mum. Raising my own children has given me invaluable hands-on experience of supporting children’s needs, development, routines and individual personalities.

I believe that combining practical parenting experience with relevant qualifications and ongoing professional development helps me provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for the children in my care.

My Fees

• Childminding from £6.00 per hour
• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

My Fees

My standard childcare rate is £6 per hour, Monday to Friday, between 7am and 6pm.

I understand that working hours don’t always fit into the usual 9–5, particularly for shift-working families. I am happy to discuss early drop-offs, later collections and alternative childcare arrangements wherever possible.

Any childcare required outside my standard hours will be discussed individually, with fees agreed in advance.
