My Experience

I have experience working with children through coaching under-8s hockey and football for Saffron Walden Clubs, and tutoring students in GCSE sciences. Coaching has helped me develop patience, communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to keep younger children engaged and entertained.

Through tutoring, I've gained experience adapting my approach to suit different teenagers and helping them build confidence in their abilities.

I've also completed over 100 hours of volunteering through my Duke of Edinburgh Award, which has helped me become reliable, organised and responsible. Although I'm still building my experience in babysitting, I feel confident working with children and would love the opportunity to support families.

My Qualifications

I'm currently studying Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Surrey, where I achieved a First in my foundation year.

I hold a Level 2 Food Safety qualification and an enhanced DBS certificate. I've also completed my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, which involved over 100 hours of volunteering.

I have experience coaching under-8s hockey and tutoring students, which has helped me develop patience, communication and leadership skills. I also achieved LAMDA Grade 8, which has helped me become a confident communicator.

My Availability

I'm a university student returning home to Newport, Essex, for the Christmas holidays. I'll be available from 10 December 2026 until approximately 8 January 2027.

During this period, I can offer flexible childcare, including weekdays, weekends and evenings. I'm happy to discuss individual arrangements and occasional babysitting depending on your family's needs.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

My standard babysitting rate is £13 per hour. I'm happy to discuss rates depending on the number of children, hours required and responsibilities involved. I'm also available for occasional evening and weekend babysitting.
