About Me
We are a friendly, international family living, near Abingdon, with four children aged 15, 8, 6 and 4. We speak English and German at home and would love to welcome a Spanish-speaking nanny who can introduce Spanish naturally through conversation, play and everyday activities. Our children are at a Bilingual school where they learn German or Spanish so it would be helpful if you could help with Spanish and/or German homework
Our backgrounds are in design and Montessori education. We value kindness, curiosity and independence, and enjoy giving our children opportunities to explore, learn and spend time outdoors. They love being active either at the playground, in the garden or at gymnastics and dance lessons but are equally happy drawing, playing board games and reading books.
We are looking for a warm, reliable and experienced nanny to help primarily with our three younger children and become a familiar, trusted part of family life. A calm approach, a sense of humour and an interest in children’s development would be a lovely fit.
We would be happy to discuss availability, working hours and arrangements with the right person.
Must hold a driving licence and be willing to drive.
My Requirements
Duties include school drop-offs and pick-ups, taking the children to activities, helping with homework and managing the children’s laundry. We would also like support in helping the children look after their belongings, keep their rooms and play areas tidy, and organise their clothes, school bags and activity equipment, encouraging them to take increasing responsibility as they grow.
