My Requirements

About us:

- Family of five with three children (in January 2027 they will be G5, B3.5 and B11m)
- G5 is at full time school
- B3.5 is at full time nursery
- B11m will be at home full time until September 2027 when he will start two full days a week at nursery
- Based in Finchley N12. Walking distance from Finchley Central and West Finchley tube stations. Parking is available on our street.
- Both parents work full time. Dad is in the office 5 days a week, Mum will WFH ~2 days a week (but will stay out of the way).
- We handle all PAYE and contracts through NannyPaye

The role:

- Live out and long term (we want someone who can build a great relationship with the family)
- Primarily caring for the baby but also providing wrap around care for the older two. In term time this will include school/nursery pick-ups and feeding all 3 children dinner before parents return by 6pm. In school holidays this will include help with G5 before and after camps and some days with G5 at home
- Care for the children to involve usual nanny duties e.g. taking the baby to playdates, the playground and baby classes, feeding the children, cleaning up after the children, helping with children’s laundry

- The role will be 40 hours a week:
- From Jan-Sep 2027 this would be 8am-6pm on Mon/Wed/Thurs/Fri (Tuesdays off)
- From Sep 2027 (when B3.5 starts school and the baby starts 2 days a week at nursery) this would be 1pm-6pm on the two nursery days and 8am-6pm on the other three days

- We need someone who is a confident driver (we will insure you on our car) as we will need the nanny to collect our daughter from school 2 days a week. This is a 25-30 minute drive away. She will be dropped back home by another family the rest of the week. Some nursery pickups will also be required which would be 5 minutes by car.

- From September 2027, we would like our nanny to help with some light housekeeping on the days when the children are all out of the house (e.g. 1-3pm to be housekeeping before school/nursery pickup). The role will remain at 40h a week but 10% of those hours would be dedicated to housekeeping. We have cleaners and so this housekeeping would not involve cleaning, but we’d like help with family laundry, batch cooking for the children, general tidying and organising, emptying the dishwasher, running small errands etc. If this doesn’t suit you then we can reduce the today hours to 36h and the two nursery days would be 3-6pm.
