Part-time to full-time live-out nanny – Southwark, near Elephant & Castle

We’re a friendly family near Elephant & Castle looking for a warm, reliable and experienced nanny for our 6-month-old baby. We’d like to start as soon as possible.

Hours: To begin, 4–5 days a week (Monday to Thursday, possibly Friday), about 4–5 hours a day. We’re flexible on exact times. From March 2027, the role will become full-time: 5 days a week, about 8 hours a day.

Pay: Competitive, to be discussed depending on experience.

About the role:

Play, activities and development for our baby, including sensory play, walks and outings, and baby classes
Nappy changes and following baby’s nap routine
Helping prepare baby’s food
Some light household help: loading and unloading the dishwasher, washing and putting away baby’s clothes, changing and washing bed linen, and sterilising bottles. We have a separate cleaner, so no general cleaning is needed.

We’re looking for:

Solid experience caring for babies under one
An enhanced DBS check, ideally on the Update Service
A current paediatric first aid certificate
Right to work in the UK
Native English speaker
Someone warm, energetic and reliable, who’s looking for a long-term role as our baby grows
