Hi! I’m Imogen, a friendly, caring and responsible individual with a positive and enthusiastic approach to childcare.
I’m 24 years old with a background in creative communications, and I love spending time outdoors, being creative and keeping active. I’m patient, organised and reliable, and really enjoy creating a fun, safe and supportive environment where children feel comfortable and happy.
I’m happy to help with everything from playtime, arts and crafts and outdoor activities to homework, mealtimes and bedtime routines. I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident that their children are in safe and caring hands.
I’m based in Kent and am looking for babysitting or childcare opportunities, whether that’s regular support or occasional help for families.
My Experience
During my time in sixth form at Beechwood Sacred Heart School, I worked in the school’s after-school care programme, where I gained valuable experience looking after children of different ages. This involved supervising activities, helping to keep the children entertained and ensuring they were in a safe, happy and supportive environment.
I also have plenty of experience caring for younger children within my family. I have a younger sister who is ten years younger than me, as well as younger cousins who I’ve spent lots of time looking after over the years.
These experiences have helped me develop a patient, caring and responsible approach to childcare. I’m confident engaging with children of different ages and enjoy finding fun and creative ways to keep them entertained!
My Qualifications
I have a First Class Honours degree in Fashion PR and Communication from the London College of Fashion. Although I don’t have any formal childcare qualifications, I gained valuable experience working in after-school care during sixth form, as well as looking after younger family members.
I also have an Enhanced DBS check to provide parents with additional peace of mind.
