About Me
I'm a 4th year Social Anthropology and Social Policy student at the University of Edinburgh, I'm also passionate about set managing and I'm very involved in university theatre, I love anything creative. I am experienced in and hope to do child-minding and I would be very interested in tutoring using creative and research backed methods, I think learning can be unnecessarily boring and often subjects are taught without reference to their wider context and untaylored to the specific childs interests. I'm looking forward to getting to know your kid and helping you out. Also I have a PVG :)
My Experience
I have experience in childminding from high school and I volunteer in Youth Work for school non-attenders, I have experience with young people with learning difficulties and children 4 and older. I can provide referrnces for both on request.
My Qualifications
I have two As at advanced higher in Modern Studies and Art, all A's at higher and National 5 in Biology, English, Art, Modern Studies and Politics, an A at National 5 level in Maths and a B in chemistry. Also currently getting my degree.
My Availability
I would like to work one shift a week preferably or a longish shift bi-weekly.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.71 per hour
- Tutoring from £30.00 per hour
My fees would be flexible depending what you can afford and what you need from me but I've set my childminding rates to the living wage and tutoring as it may only be an hour or two I've set as higher.
