About Me
Hi! I’m a bubbly, friendly and caring person who absolutely loves spending time with children. I’m naturally patient, approachable and responsible, and I love creating a fun, happy and safe environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I have experience looking after my neighbours’ children, as well as experience supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities through my family’s school transport business. This has helped me develop an understanding of how different every child is and the importance of being patient, attentive and adapting to their individual needs. I’m also a young carer, which has taught me a great deal about responsibility, compassion and caring for others. Whether it’s keeping little ones entertained with fun activities, helping with homework, preparing meals or following bedtime routines, I’m always happy to help. I want both children and parents to feel comfortable, confident and reassured knowing their little ones are in safe and caring hands!
My Experience
I have experience looking after children of different ages, including babysitting my neighbours’ children and helping keep them entertained, happy and settled. Through my family’s school transport business, I’ve also gained exposure to working with children with special educational needs and disabilities, including understanding that every child has different abilities, personalities and support needs. Growing up with caring responsibilities within my family has also taught me to be patient, attentive and responsible. I’m confident adapting to different children’s personalities and enjoy getting involved in activities, games, creative play and helping with everyday routines.
My Qualifications
I am currently a university student and have developed strong organisational, communication and time-management skills through my education and responsibilities. I am also a qualified Wellbeing Leader, which has helped me develop my understanding of emotional wellbeing, empathy, active listening and supporting others. I have experience as a young carer, which has strengthened my patience, compassion and sense of responsibility. I am particularly understanding of children with additional needs and recognise the importance of creating an inclusive, supportive environment. I am also confident helping children with their homework and encouraging learning through fun and engaging activities.
My Availability
Mondays from 3pm
Tuesdays from 1pm
Wednesday and Thursday whole day
Friday’s can be arranged if needed

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
