My Requirements

We have two brilliant girls. My eldest aged 9 has complex disabilities and is an absolute joy to everyone who meets her. My youngest is a creative whirlwind aged 4 who is kind and caring. Both of them have a great sense of humour. We are looking for help with either or both of them. My eldest requires use of a hoist, lots of messy play, administration of medicine through her gastrostomy, oral spoon feeding, lots of cuddles, pad changes and a total communication approach using objects of reference and touch symbols. We can train in any or all of these aspects but some experience of SEND would of course be helpful. We need help with her care after school to get ready for bed and then also weekends. My youngest doesn’t have any SEND. We need help with her some evenings and on weekends.Supporting their joint interaction and play is important to us but we would never expect a babysitter or Carer to take responsibility for both of them! If both of them are in the home, then one of us or another Carer or family member would be present. My eldest will always have two Carers for outings to do activities or go swimming.
