My Experience
I have previous experience working with children in childcare settings, including working as a child practitioner/support worker in an out-of-school club as well as my current job in a daycare/nursery as a supply support worker. I have also gained experience through babysitting and school placements. These experiences have helped me develop strong communication skills, patience and the ability to build positive relationships with children of different ages. I enjoy supporting children’s learning and development, organising activities and creating a safe, fun and welcoming environment. I also have experience working in care, which has strengthened my sense of responsibility and understanding of individual needs.
My Qualifications
I have A-level qualifications in Health and Social Care and Child Development (Scottish advanced higher), as well as GCSE qualifications in both subjects. These have given me a strong foundation in understanding children’s development, health, wellbeing and individual needs. I am also currently studying Social Work at the University of Dundee, where I am further developing my knowledge of safeguarding, child development, communication and supporting vulnerable individuals. Alongside my education, my practical childcare experience has helped me develop the skills and confidence needed to provide safe, responsible and nurturing care for children.
My Availability
I have flexible availability and can offer babysitting during evenings, weekends and some weekdays, depending on my university timetable aswell as my work schedule. I am happy to discuss specific days and times with parents in advance and can be flexible where possible to accommodate your family’s needs\.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
My babysitting fees are flexible and can be discussed with parents depending on the number of children, their ages, the hours required and the responsibilities involved. I aim to offer affordable and fair rates while providing reliable, attentive and quality childcare.
