My Experience
I have been working with SEN children now for 4 years as a SEN TA and I have picked up skills such as adapted communication, active listening/observation, patience, empathy, resilience, and sensory awareness. I have experience with working with a wide range of children with special educational needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, physical disabilities, SEMH, and sensory processing needs. I am a confident and reliable person who can work alongside people such as SENCOs, therapists, parents, and colleagues everyone has different expertise, and we all work towards the same goal which is helping the child thrive. Teamwork is important because it means everyone uses the same strategies, the same language, and the same boundaries, also every member of the team brings different skills and when we combine that knowledge, we can tailor the support for the child.
My Qualifications
GCSE in english, maths, science, health and social care, photography and food technology.
Childcare and early years level 3 diploma
Makaton level 1&2 training
Epilepsy awareness training
Allergy awareness and anaphylaxis training
My Availability
I am available throughout the week and will be available on some weekends
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
i can be flexible when it come to pay, it depends on the role/needs of the child and wether it is a day shift or a night shift.
