Honey has been an absolutely wonderful childminder for our family and we cannot recommend her highly enough. From the very beginning, the settling-in period was so thoughtful and reassuring. She made both my son and us as parents feel completely comfortable and confident that he was in the best hands.

One of the things that really stands out about Honey is how well she truly knows the children in her care. She makes such an effort to understand their personalities, their likes and dislikes, and always goes out of her way to make sure this is reflected in their day-to-day activities. It’s clear how much she genuinely cares about every child.

Honey also works closely with parents and really mirrors the milestones we are aiming for at home. For example, she supported me with toilet training and followed the same approach we were using at home, which made such a huge difference and had a really positive impact. That consistency between home and childcare meant our son progressed with so much confidence.

She has also always been incredibly flexible and supportive. If we were ever running late or needed to send our son for an additional day, she was always so understanding and accommodating, which we really appreciated.

The children also get to experience so many lovely outings and trips, and it’s clear how much effort Honey puts into making each day engaging and fun for them.

My son spent several years with Honey before moving on to a school-based nursery, and I can truly see how the strong foundation she helped build has allowed him to flourish in this next stage. The care, encouragement and confidence she gave him during those early years have made such a difference.

In fact, our experience was so positive that we didn’t hesitate to send our second child to Honey as well. She has settled in so well and it’s so reassuring knowing she is in such a warm and nurturing environment.
