Outstanding Childminder – Highly Recommended

Honey has been an absolutely wonderful childminder for our family and we cannot recommend her highly enough. From the very beginning, the settling-in period was so thoughtful and reassuring. She made both my son and us as parents feel completely comfortable and confident that he was in the best hands.

One of the things that really stands out about Honey is how well she truly knows the children in her care. She makes such an effort to understand their personalities, their likes and dislikes, and always goes out of her way to make sure this is reflected in their day-to-day activities. It’s clear how much she genuinely cares about every child.

Honey also works closely with parents and really mirrors the milestones we are aiming for at home. For example, she supported me with toilet training and followed the same approach we were using at home, which made such a huge difference and had a really positive impact. That consistency between home and childcare meant our son progressed with so much confidence.

She has also always been incredibly flexible and supportive. If we were ever running late or needed to send our son for an additional day, she was always so understanding and accommodating, which we really appreciated.

The children also get to experience so many lovely outings and trips, and it’s clear how much effort Honey puts into making each day engaging and fun for them.

My son spent several years with Honey before moving on to a school-based nursery, and I can truly see how the strong foundation she helped build has allowed him to flourish in this next stage. The care, encouragement and confidence she gave him during those early years have made such a difference.

In fact, our experience was so positive that we didn’t hesitate to send our second child to Honey as well. She has settled in so well and it’s so reassuring knowing she is in such a warm and nurturing environment.

Wonderful Honey

Honey is an incredible childminder, completely exceeding our expectations of what childcare for our daughter could look like. Honey is professional, calm, and completely devoted to the children in her care. We could not have been happier with the level care she has given our daughter in the three years we’ve known Honey. She takes such care to get to know the children and their personalities and whenever she talks about our daughter we really get a sense of how well she has observed her, and the very special bond she has created with her. She creates such memorable experiences for the children, cooking together, summer parties, trips out and about and a wonderful home from home environment for them to flourish in.

Honey never rushes parents off and always has the time to debrief on the day. I’ve really admired how patient she is with the children and always gives them time to express themselves. Honey supports the whole family through important milestones like new siblings, potty training etc. and we really feel that in finding Honey we have grown and feel so supported by her wisdom and expertise.

I really believe that in sending our daughter to Honey’s house we have given her the best possible start to life outside our family home, she has formed bonds and created memories which I know will last a lifetime. We are so grateful for Honey!

Could not ask for more - best home away from home

Honey is an outstanding childminder.
Our daughter started at 10months and stayed for almost 3 years. Even though we started in 2021 during awkward covid times, Honey did everything to make sure she settled in well and we never had a doubt as to how our daughter was getting thanks to whatsapp pictures or little updates.
Honey was at all times professional, reliable, and above all radiates warmth as well as being very engaged with all of the kids.
It's very clear Honey loves what she does and no doubt the children really pick up on this.

We really appreciated the nuanced communication we had about our daughters development, something normal nurseries simply cannot offer - I was also very happy about Honeys focus on high quality home cooked food <3

The effort Honey and her small team would go to in planning trips for the kids (fire station / airports / the beach / pumpkin picking) is something our daughter still talks about to this day. Simply wonderful and well beyond any average call of duty!

Outstanding!

We cannot recommend Honey and her setting enough. is nurturing, responsible, and has a natural ability to connect with children. Honey creates a safe and engaging environment that encourages exploration and learning both indoors and outdoors. I have always been impressed by her creativity in planning activities that promote development while ensuring that my children are happy and secure.
Both of my children began with Honey when they were 9 months old and it has been the best decision we made. Communication with Honey has always been open and informative, and we appreciate how she keeps us updated on our children's progress and daily experiences.

Cannot recommend highly enough!

Our two daughters went to Honey for almost a year after we relocated to London. We have absolutely loved having her as our childminder and would be staying on if it still worked for us location wise. Honey is incredibly caring and provides a homely and loving environment in which children can flourish. She plans a variety of activities and days out for the children, and celebrates lots of different holidays and religions. Our girls have loved being in her care and have really flourished in their personalities. Honey provides lovely food at an affordable price, and works on each child’s needs individually e.g. she really helped one of our daughters grow in confidence in getting dressed by herself. We cannot thank Honey enough for all her and her family have done for our girls. We have used her daughter as a babysitter and our girls have always been so happy to saying goodbye and leaving them with her. I have recommended Honey to other parents and their children have also loved being in her care. Thank you for everything Honey!

Five Stars!!

We have been incredibly fortunate to find our childminder. Her home is transformed into a haven of learning, fun, and safety for our child. The space is clean, well-organized, and filled with toys and educational materials that keep our little ones engaged. Her loving nature and professional approach have made us feel completely at ease leaving our child in her care. Truly Wonderful, Highly Recommend

Our daughter started going to Honey’s when she was 10 months old, as I was going back to work. We loved that Honey had a thoughtful settling in plan when we first started, which shows her knowledge of child development and attachment. She provided extra support and comfort during those initial weeks/months whilst our daughter got used to be separated from me and her Dad.

Honey’s care is truly outstanding. She considers each child’s individual interests and needs and supports them to flourish in a safe and supportive environment. She is also happy to give guidance and support when needed.

Honey sets up brilliant learning experiences and activities for the children, so they can learn skills and develop through play, sensory play and more structured activities.

They go on trips both locally and around London, which are always planned and prepared for really well.

We really liked that Honey created activities and celebrations that taught the children about many different religious and cultural holidays happening throughout the year, which felt very inclusive and supported our daughter to learn about different religions and traditions.

Our daughter absolutely loved going to Honey’s and made really lovely friendships and connections with the other children, staff and Honey’s family. Our daughter went to Honey’s from 10 months to almost 3 years old. We have moved abroad now and this is the reason we moved on from Honey’s. Honey has supported our daughter through some changes and transitions, including moving house, toilet training and most recently moving to a new country and getting ready for preschool. Honey really took the time to consider what would support our daughter with these transitions and included all the children in the activities and discussions so that our daughter didn’t feel singled out.

Honey is incredibly skilled and passionate about what she does and this is evident every single day. We honestly couldn’t have hoped for a better start to our daughter experiencing care and spending time away from her Dad and I.

The best childminder

When my son was one year old I decided to send him to a childminder. I wanted to start working again part time and above all, I needed to have a break as I didn't have anyone to leave the baby with even for just an hour, furthermore, the child was very active and slept very little and I was very tired and under stress.
I searched a lot and also visited some nursery but no one has ever trusted me fully. I didn't know how the baby would react being used to being with me all day. I was sure that he would need to be constantly monitored not yet knowing how to walk independently, also he put all the small things he found in his mouth risking swallowing anything.
When I met Honey I finally realized that I could trust her and entrust her with my baby.
Honey is a very sweet and helpful person, she listened to all my doubts and concerns and I understood that my son would be safe with her.
Her house is really welcoming and perfectly adapted to the presence of many children.
You understand how much she loves them and is dedicated to them.
My son has learned a lot and has built a beautiful relationship with Honey and her family.
Always gives me a report of the day and also good advice on the baby.
I sincerely recommend her.

Best childcare in Manor Park

Both our children (at the time 1 and 4) were in Honey’s care. Honey provided the most engaged and supportive environment for both our children. She organised interesting activities and trips that were both fun and educational - the fire engine was a particular highlight where the children learnt about fire safety. They came home excited that they had met Fireman Sam. She always goes the extra mile in her teaching activities! Food was tasty and healthy and both our boys always enjoyed her meals and came home asking if I could cook similar things! We were so sad to leave her when our family left London but have kept in contact since then and I think that goes far to showing how important she was to our family. We miss her! If you want the best for your children, I suggest you get in touch with Honey. Her care is truly outstanding.
