About Me
It is hard to describe myself as I fulfil many roles to different people. Primarily I am a mother to four children 11,7,6 and 4. I am also a committed academic, a lecturer in Psychology.
This focus on educational, and developmental Psychology comes naturally to me as I have always endeavored to look after all children in my care in a nurturing and evidence-based way. I treat babies and children as real people, entitled to their own thoughts, feelings and emotions. As a general rule I am child led with clear boundries. I am an experienced cloth nappy user, and also have trained as a babywearing and breastfeeding peer supporter. I understand that it isn't always possible to be with your child 24/7, and how important it is to have someone who will care as you would.
I have always loved being around and working with children, having my own children has only added to this. I find being around babies and children so rewarding. I am happy to do domestic duties, shopping, cooking, and anything else as discussed. I am a renowned feeder and feed (what seems like) army troops regularly! I have forest school training and spend lots of time camping and exploring with my own family.
I can offer care and educational support from newborn to 18. I am as happy cuddling babies as I am helping with homework or tutoring for A levels. If you are looking for someone with personal and professional experience then please contact me
