About Me

I am a Primary school teacher with over 25 years experience and now specialise in Special Educational Needs. I can offer targeted Literacy and Numeracy tuition for KS1 and 2 (inc Sats preparation in Y6) as well as personalised support for children with Special Educational Needs. I can also support home schooling arrangements if for whatever reason a child is out of mainstream education.

I am offering 1-1 or group tuition from my home or if easier I can come to you. I will target and deliver my sessions according to the pupils needs and learning style and ensure that each child is engaged in a fun and interactive way. I can use a range of learning resources to suit the learning style of the child and will ensure that they come away feeling they have achieved.

My Experience

Having taught in a wide range of schools in London for 15 years, I relocated to Sussex where I have worked in various primary schools.

I have held many teaching and leadership roles, senior management roles and most recently a Special Educational Needs & Disability Coordinator supporting children with a range of difficulties including Dyslexia, Autistic Spectrum Condition, Speech and Language delay and Social, Emotional & Mental Health. Aside from this specialism, I work with students who just find accessing learning a little tricky and aim to break down these barriers to allow success and achievement.
