My Experience

I studied a level 3 child learning and development course at college, which inlcudes children 0-8 and have recently completed my course finishing with A* child care qualification within this I have, completed 800 hours of work experience in different settings. These placements consisted of nurseries, schools and special needs placements. Previously I have taught younger children within my dance school and regularly baby sit family members and close friends. I have experience with special needs children and children with behavioural issues, I have previously worked four months within a club and summer club, designed for children with special needs and children with behaviour problems within this I have learnt certain skills and how to deal with different situations and scenarios within this. I have a BA HONS degree in early childhood studies and have worked in many settings and carried out many modules. I have also worked in special educational needs holiday ventures and centres and have experience with children with additional needs. I have also worked for Portsmouth city council play service and helped create an inclusive practice for children from diverse backgrounds. I have a first aid qualification and have completed safeguarding and child protection courses.
