About Me
I'm 50 years old and have 2 daughters aged 16 and 21, we live in a quiet cul de sac in Newton farm cambuslang.
I have been a registered childminder for 12 years and with over 15 years working with children.
We have a bichon frise dog that is hypoallergenic and is kept separate from the minded children.
My garden is secure and astroturfed so children can play all year round. It's also enclosed where children can play safely among the many toys available and get plenty of fresh air and exercise.
For all children coming into my care I offer a friendly, warm and welcoming environment. My aim is for all children to feel safe, secure,happy comfortable In a home from home environment
I provide activities such as:
Indoor - Baking,arts & crafts, singing, dancing,reading & free play.
Outdoors - garden (Shute/swings and various toys) toddler groups, soft play, picnics, walks, rhyme time & trips.
i offer a couple of settling in periods so parents are at ease when they return to work/further education.

I have been a childminder for 13 years and look after children of different ages from a young babies to children of school age.
Im a mother to my 2 beautiful daughters aged 15 & 20 & I have 18 years experience with children from babies to teenagers and Children with additional needs.

My Availability
My working hours are Monday - Friday 0800-1700 but can be flexible outwith these hours.
Currently- Under 5 space available monday to thursday from Jan 2026
before and after school care space from st charles primary
I'm also a funded provider so can offer childcare for children that qualify for free childcare (inc blended care)
My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
Full day rate from 8-5 includes snacks. Also fees include entry to various local places of interest. fees vary on hours required.

Our son just loved going to Dawn’s and we noticed how well he excelled in his speech and other areas, so it’s clear Dawn spent some time helping him with this. Dawn is great at providing lots of different activities, most of which involve other kids which again helps their development. Thanks for everything, Dawn, you’re the best!

My son was looked after by Dawn for 2 years. He thrived under her care and grew in so much confidence. The first thing I noticed about Dawn, during one of our initial visits, was her sense of fun when playing with the children. My son was always outside in the garden during the summer, which he loved, attended childminding groups, toddler groups, bookbug and more. Dawn is very friendly and approachable and I would highly recommend her childminding service.

We found Dawn last minute and she started looking after my little girl ( 1 yr). Very patient and lovely with the kids. Always engaged them with outdoor activities which my girl absolutely adores, neat environment, family oriented and an excellent service
