About Me
Hi my name is Jaz. I am an Ofsted registered childminder, married and a mum of two lovely children.
I provide a warm and safe home-from-home environment with lots of open space indoors and outdoors. I care for children where I endeavor to build strong relationships and quality care, my home has an open plan living, is spacious providing children with a good play area.
Children are supported to develop and reach their milestones in a fun and creative way with a focus. I provide a range of activities;
*daily physical exercise (indoor, outdoors - garden and/or other local green space)
* various toys to assist with development, interactive play to include: arts and crafts
* attend play groups
* fun cooking and learning about health.
My background comes with holistic massage therapist experience including baby massage for over 10 years, I have a passion working with kids and am also a kids and adult yoga instructor, I believe every child is unique, I enjoy caring and seeing children learn, grow and have fun!
My flexible approach ensures parents return to work is as seamless as possible. The service I provide is tailored to individual needs bridging the home-to-childcare gap.
I offer Monday - Thursday service, full day care is now available for over 1 year old and breakfast / after school care from Oakdale nursery, Infants and Juniors term time cover. . I also provide adhoc childcare between 9am - 3pm Mon-Thurs and some holiday cover.

My Experience
Through my own children I developed a good understanding, how best to communicate with them and this has helped me build strong relationships. I am child focused, treat each child in a holistic manner, am fair and non-judgmental.
At a very young age I worked on a camp in a supervisory capacity with children who were away from home for the first time, providing a caring approach as well participating in various fun activities.
I'm a kids yoga teacher, where we role play, allow children to express themselves, have fun and also learn mindfulness values.
Having two children of my own has also helped me understand a lot more about children, I find that sometimes I learn more from children that we forget about as adults!
My Qualifications
Bachelor of Science (Hons) Geography
Completed Redbridge Pre-registration training course for childminders (2013)
12 hour Paediatric first aid course (Ofsted requirement)
Ofsted registered
Member of the Redbridge Pioneer Childminding Network (approved by the Professional Association of Childcare and Early Years as a quality assured PACEY 'child come first' childminder network)
Food and Hygiene Level 2
Fully Insured
Child safeguarding course completed through NSPCC and Redbridge
Kids yoga teacher trained with Rainbow kids yoga and YMCA 200 hr yoga teacher
ITEC qualified Holistic Therapist: Lymphatic Drainage, Holistic Massage, Reiki and Indian Head Massage (Diploma)

My Availability
I am a stones throw from South Woodford station.
Full day care 8am to 6pm
Breakfast 8am - 9 am and after school care 3.20pm - 6pm places offered.
I cover drop offs/ pick ups at Oakdale nursery, Infants and Juniors
