About Me
Hi my name is Kate and I have been a registered childminder for over 21 years. I have special needs training and a paedietric first aid certificate. I have a special playroom which is full of a wide range of toys,educational games, art and craft activities and books. I also have a large garden which contains many cars and bikes 2climbing frames and a sand pit. I care for children of all ages and provide a full and part time service with school and nursery pickups and school holiday care is also available. I have three children. Two boys and a girl who love to play with any who come round.
My Experience
I have many years experience working with young children both within my child minding setting and within a Nursery and school. I also have experience with special needs from providing restbite on weekends to one to one care in a day nursery. I provide care and have experience with newborn babies up to children age 12. I am trained as a teacher and also a nursery nurse so can provide support for most childrens needs.

ICP Childminding Practice - Level 3
NVQ level 3 Childcare Care Learning and Development
NVQ Level 5 Childcare Learning and development
Level 2 - Cache special Needs - SNAP Wales
HNC Education studies

I am available every day from 6am-8pm (including weekends)

I would recommend kate to everyone, she had both my babies for me to be able to return to work in february this year, when my little girl first started going she wouldnt go to anyone or even look in anyone's direction but it didn't take long before she would go in all smiles and not look back! I knew they were in good hands and it put me at ease knowing I could go back to work and they were being looked after and also having lots of fun! my little boy has always been social but i do believe that by going to to kates it helped him learn how to play with other children, I am beyond grateful for Kate and would definitely recommend her services to anyone shes super experienced and so lovely xx

I would highly recommend Kate to anyone in the area looking for a home-from-home setting with a kind, child-focused carer. My toddler has been attending Kate's setting for 6 months and she will be sad to go when she starts school in September. Kate has really helped my little one settle, and she enjoys spending time in the home with her lovely family. My little one especially loves her dogs, and gets to go out every day on adventures. It's been a God-send to have Kate on my doorstep. I can't review food as all kids take a packed lunch. But can say that my tot has enjoyed eating her lunch and snacks with the other children. Sometimes they have picnics.

My little one has been with Kate since he was 1yr old and will be continuing with her until he begins school next year. I cannot put into words how amazing she has been with him and more importantly with me!! Sorting me out with childcare when work hours have shifted, helping with pre-school information and arrangements, dropping off and picking up in places a little more convenient on a particular day. She is wonderful with our son who absolutely adores her and goes willingly with her each morning. She keeps him entertained and stimulated and he enjoys going to the baby groups with her and the other children she has. Kate has accommodated out parenting choices without question and always been helpful with advice when I have struggled with the 'terrible twos' or threenage' periods! My son behaves the same way with Kate as he does at home so I know that he's totally comfortable and happy with her and her setting.
This lady is absolutely wonderful and I would recommend her to any parent looking for someone to look after their whole world (this is how it felt for me). Thank you so much Kate for all that you've done!!
