My Requirements

Hi I’m looking for someone to support my sixteen year old autistic daughter. She’s verbal/very independent in lots of ways but really struggles with social anxiety and at times low mood. She needs someone who is caring and patient but also has a bit of an understanding of autism in females and can provide that gentle challenge she needs when the relationship has been built. She has had a great relationship with her current carer (now relocating) and will go to the shops with her and starting to go out on a bus and walk round the block. I'm looking for someone who has use of their own car as a significant part of the role will be driving her to college in Idle (approx 25 minutes journey) where she will be attending a tuition centre to do an A -level. Hours are flexible as I don't know her current college timetable but may be able to work around your own schedule. Looking for approx 8-10 hours a week - again could be flexible on this. £12 an hour. Mileage covered as well at 55p /mile.
