About Me

I am a warm, friendly, and caring person. I work with my daughter Gemma, who is 22 years old. I have another daughter Heidi, who is 24 and is a trainee accountant with a masters degree in Chemistry. I have been married to my lovely husband Gary for 25 years. We have a friendly, fluffy cat called Furball and a cornsnake called Nibbles, who is upstairs in a locked vivarium. We also have two friendly rabbits called Marshmallow and Jellybean. I aim to provide your child with a homebased learning environment which is planned using the eyfs and is led through play activities and experiences.

My Experience

I am a parent, I have been a registered childminder for over 17 years and am a member of PACEY. I'm OFSTED registered and have completed numerous training courses including ICP, LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN HOMEBASED CHILDCARE, BASIC FOOD HYGIENE, PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID, EQUALITIES. I follow eyfs and characteristics of effective learning alongside your child's interests to plan an interesting and enabling environment for your child to explore and experience.

My Qualifications

I am a parent, I have been a registered childminder for over 13yrs and am a member of PACEY, I'm OFSTED registered and have completed numerous training courses including ICP, LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN HOMEBASED CHILDCARE, BASIC FOOD HYGIENE, PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID, which included an anaphylaxis and epipen, EQUALITIES. I follow eyfs and characteristics of effective learning alongside your child's interests to plan an interesting and enabling environment for your child to explore and experience.

My Availability

I am available for work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,7.30 am until 6.00 pm but I am flexible when needed. Please contact for more details.

My Fees

  • Childminding from £3.00 per hour

£3.00per child per hr
£5 per two children per hour ( sibling discount is for oldest child and both children must be from same family)

I offer funding for eligible 2 yr olds and all 3,4 yr olds.
Entitlement is currently 15 hours universal and 15hrs extended funding that together make up the 30hrs per week and may be all in one setting or split between two settings if needed.

Louise has looked after both of my children now aged 13 and 11.
My son is still in her care until he leaves for secondary school in September 2019
Louise has always been outstanding in childcare and parent communication always putting the child's care first! Louise has employed her daughter, Gemma, who has been a great asset with the children, training to get her qualifications, and proving to be a fantastic practitioner with the children and adults in her care too!
Hands up to both of them and Gary sorting out the weekly bills.
I cannot rate this family enough...they are amazing!
