About Me
Hello, my name is Kajal Karia, I am an OFSTED registered, experienced childminder and a member of PACEY. My setting has a separate playroom with a rear garden and patio, which is fully resourced with various play and learning activities such as toys, a sandpit, a black and white board, painting easel, bikes, tricycles, cars, play house, twin slide with tunnel and climbing frame. I have all age appropriate learning toys, dressing up clothes, books, dolls, puzzles, train sets, wooden bricks, Lego sets, various multi cultural toys, cars and a garage.
I enjoy working with children by making learning fun and doing various activities. My routine consists of going to the local Children’s centre, shops, park and library. Occasionally I take the children on a bus and tube ride to the shopping centre in Harrow. I hold a full clean driving license with my own car.
The EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) is followed at my setting by observing, assessing and planning the children’s daily activities and progression accordingly. I provide and encourage a range of sensory learning and play opportunities for children.
My setting has been awarded Good by OFSTED.
My setting is a pet and smoke free, cozy, friendly and safe environment for all the children to be in, which provides fun with learning and development opportunities.

My Experience
I have more than 17years experience working with chldren and have been working as a registered childminder in Harrow from the last 10 years.
I also have 5 years work experience from an extended childminding setting in the UK by working alongside a childminder.
I also have 2 years experience as a nursery school teacher from East Africa.
My Qualifications
I hold a B.A.Hons in Early Childhood Studies Scheme . I am first aid pediatric trained and hold health and safety and food and hygiene certificates. I have got all the relevant qualification and experience in childcare and education.
My Availability
Monday to Friday 8.00am - 6.00pm however, I am happy to be more flexible if need be.

Lovely Lady. My daughter is loving her time spent at Kajal's. I can see alot of improvement in my child. Kajal loves kids just the way she would love her own child. I would highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better person to take care of my child.

My son has been going to Kajal for more than a year now. She is the most amazing, loving and caring childminder I have met. The food she provides is of great quality, everything freshly made at home. My son has severe allergy to dairy and she has made sure she provides dairy-free substitutes to him. She is very patient and has the ability to understand children's needs and perspective. She keeps trying new activities each day, takes kids outdoors and explores new areas of development. I get regular updates of what my little boy is upto on whatsapp. She is like a mother to my son and I am so glad I met with her.

I have been sending my son from last year during the holidays periods to Kajal.She is very gentle and kind. It gave me the confidence and reassurance as a mum that I was leaving her in safe hands. She is such a lovely person. Her son and my son are very good friends and play together very nicely. While I’m at work I get updates photos via WhatsApp.

Kajal is a fantastic childminder. She pprovides loads of fun and educational activities both in the home and outdoors. She is very caring and thoughtful and my son is completely comfortable with her. She provides feedback about what my son have been doing each day.
We enjoy the fact that kajal is flexible to our some what rollercoaster working pattern and always makes my son feel welcome.
Kajal prepares nutrition meals tailored to my sons dietry needs and often send me exciting pictures of their day out the the farm, temple and garden.
I gave the highest confidence in her trustworthiness judgement and loyalty.
I will highly recommend her.
