My Summary

My Experience

I really take pleasure in looking after children of all ages, i am accustom to being around children as i have 6 of my own and many of my family and friends children come over and i look after them. I believe i am friendly, sociable, caring yet disciplined and create a safety environment for children and consider that rules should always be followed so children know their boundaries.
I know children learn with what they see and what they have, so i intent to take them out to play groups, park, libraries, crews hill, farms. I like to bake and i always get children involved as its fun for them to get messy and also achieve something delicious in the end. I have a good size garden, with planting and growing vegetables and variety of toys and sports to play. I will ensure that all the areas of early year foundation will be followed. Indoors i have a selection of toys to suit any age. I also encourage children to do their homework when they come to mine, to read and do some phonics with them. Also provide children with some homework to take home to prepare them for school ( nursery or reception). Books, toys, computers are provided aswell.
I have all the facilities for babies ( bouncer, walker, cot, play mats, baby swing and toys).
All the families I work with are a family to me, I also try to get parents to be involved in some activities together. eg.. having picnics, going for coffee or even outings.

I was also a foster carer, i have done many training.
I always like to update my courses,
all these courses will cover communication, language and physical development. Observations, assessment and planning and partnership with parents. EYFS safeguarding and welfare requirements, confidentiality and sharing concerns.

On the 19th January 2015 I had my ofsted inspection which I was given GOOD.

My Availability

I work Monday - Friday - 7am till 6pm if needed longer hours as well.
If weekends are needed please do not hesitate to speak to me.
I work all year round. But try to take some half terms off just so I can have family time.
I am at the moment trying not to do school pick ups as I have already children in my setting, which may put me in a difficult position. I already do shool pick up from charterhatch school.
I offer fresh water, juice, milk available at all times.
I also offer healthy fresh snacks and fruits, for their 5 a day.
I offer home cooked food, freshly made daily, breakfast, lunch and dinner. As I use HALAL meat..
I'm also offering baby sitting

My Fees

• Childminding from £9.50 per hour
• Babysitting from £12.50 per hour
