About Me
I am a medical professional intererested in pursuing a career in paediatrics as I love working with children. I am very reliable, sensible and responsible, and on top of this am and fun and caring with children. I have extensive previous babysitting experience (including caring for a newborn), and experience working as a support worker for a child with autism/additional needs. Given my medical background I am also confident dealing with children with more complex medical requirements. I have worked with children on numerous additional occasions, including contributing to the running of educational workshops, birthday parties, children's adventure camps, and also working as a volunteer on a PHAB camp for children with multiple disabilities and special needs. I am fluent in sign language, having passed BSL Level 2. I have an up-to-date DBS (CRB) check, and am proficient in first aid and life support. I have a Lifeguard Qualification, and so am well-equipped for swimming based activities with children. I am also very musical, enjoy a variety of crafts, and have a good imagination, so can provide numerous fun activities for children of all ages.
I am wholly trustworthy, enthusiastic and very good at relating to children of all ages, and finding activities that they enjoy.

My availability is primarily evenings and weekends, with possible occasional other days during the school holidays. I am happy to take children out on day trips, provide some basic tutoring, and also 'home help' services for parents as needed.

This was the first time I had left my seven month old baby with a stranger to babysit him and Ellie could not have made me feel more as ease. She shared all her documentation beforehand, spoke to me on the phone and even visited!
On the actual evening she was on time (actually early!) and was genuinely keen to get involved in bathtime and pre-bed bottle feed so we could be certain my son felt at ease with her before I left. She is genuinely interested in children- both as little people but from a professional perspective too. Her medical background is an added bonus - was nice to know she would know what to do in a medical emergency!
Would not hesitate to use again, or recommend to others. Thanks Ellie 😊

Eleanor is the most trustworthy, kind, caring, professional and fun baby sitter that I could have possibly found. My little boy adores her and I trust her with him and in our home 100%.
Unfortunately we are moving away from the area so it will be to far for her to help me regularly.
Eleanor would an asset to any family.
