About Me

Hi, my name is Lynda and I am an Ofsted registered childminder graded 'Good’ I have been childminding since September 2012. I live in Romsey with my partner, we have 4 children - my eldest daughter is 22, our 2 sons are age 15 and 8, my youngest daughter is 7. I offer a safe, secure stimulating environment for children, providing activities such as messy play , arts/crafts, singing/dancing and lots more, we regularly visit toddler groups, country parks, local parks, indoor play areas etc aswell as Paultons Park. I also meet up with other childminders in the area on a regular basis.

My Experience

I previously worked at Halterworth Schools Breakfast and After School club (Kidz Play UK) for four years where I gained knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and a level 2 in Playwork. I was due to return at the end of my maternity leave following the birth of my eldest son, however i decided that childminding would be the perfect option for me, I have always loved working with children and enjoy being a part of their learning and development.

Ofsted Good Provider Logo
Good
15 July 2024
An ambitious curriculum and strong bonds with children characterize this childcare environment. The provider develops close relationships with each child, ensuring they feel safe and valued. A wide range of experiences are offered, allowing children to practice existing skills and learn new ones. Independence is encouraged through daily routines. While communication with parents is effective, there is room for improvement in allowing children more time to respond during conversations.
