About Me
Hi, my name is Lynda and I am an Ofsted registered childminder graded 'good' with outstanding in children’s Personal, social and emotional development. I have been childminding since September 2012. I live in Romsey with my partner, we have 4 children - my eldest daughter is 20, Our 2 sons are age 12 and 5, my youngest daughter is 4. I offer a safe, secure stimulating environment for children, providing activities such as messy play , arts/crafts, singing/dancing and lots more, we regularly visit toddler groups, country parks, local parks, indoor play areas etc I’m a member of the toy library, the children enjoy choosing new toys on a regular basis. We visit Romsey library where the children choose a book each to support their interests/learning and I meet up with other childminders in the area on a regular basis.
My Experience
I previously worked at Halterworth Schools Breakfast and After School club (Kidz Play UK) for four years where I gained knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and a level 2 in Playwork. I was due to return at the end of my maternity leave following the birth of my eldest son, however i decided that childminding would be the perfect option for me, I have always loved working with children and enjoy being a part of their learning and development.
