I’m Samantha,
I am currently looking for a contracted nanny role of a minimum of two days a week, I would ideally like three days a week.
From January 2026 I will be unavailable to work Wednesdays (due to my own childcare needs).
Contracted nanny roles.
Hourly rate from, £21 gross, per hour, depending on hours required. Currently awaiting OFSTED registration as a nanny, families that qualify could make savings of £2000 per year.
Self employed work.
Maternity nurse, nanny(when I am working for more than one family) and night nanny.
Hourly rates range from £26 gross per hourly rate, depending on the hours required and days requested.
I can accommodate families on some weekends.
Proxy parenting booked in advanced is charged at £400 per 24 hours, preferably over a weekend but week days can be accommodated on occasions.
I have an enhanced DBS and I am registered on the renewal service.
I have professional and public insurances.
I have a paediatric first aid qualification (June 2025).
I have a clean driving licence and I have business insurance to use my own car if required.
I am also a mother myself. I have a son who will be turning, 20 in the new year and I have a daughter who is 14.
I previously worked as a registered children’s nurse, I qualified in 2005.
My Experience
I have over twenty years experience working with children and families. I have previously worked as a registered children’s nurse. I have worked on paediatric wards, within health visiting and immunisation teams.
I have also been a volunteer in my children’s old infant school helping within a reception class.

Children’s nursing qualification (2005).
Paediatric first aid qualification (12 hour course) (2025).
Relax kids course completed during Covid (online).
Online courses completed in: Safeguarding children and adults (level 3). (2024)
Maternal mental health.
Breastfeeding.
I am always updating my learning.
My Availability
No availability at present on Wednesday or Friday in November.
From January 2026, available Monday (all day), Tuesday ( available until 3:00pm), day off Wednesday, Thursday (until 3:00pm), Friday (all day) and available some Saturdays adhoc.
