About Me
I specialise in building a child's confidence in Maths. I use a range of methods that complement traditional text book teaching including visualisation, exploration, pattern-spotting, podcasts, games and past papers.
My Experience
I have a wide experience of dealing with all abilities of children and have the backing of a local executive head teacher [reference on request].
I have worked as a teacher in both Primary Schools and Secondary Schools dealing with all ages and abilities and have worked amongst children in schools in four different countries.
Past pupils have generally improved on their expected grades by at least two marks. I have quite a bit of experience with ASD tutees and other SEN.
My Qualifications
BA Degree in Maths & History from Oxford Brookes University
PGCE Maths (Secondary) from Oxford Brookes University.
My Availability
I'm available to suit your schedule. In the Newbury area with my own transport. Can also do lessons via video call with screen sharing.

- Tutoring from £45.00 per hour
First session is free as an introduction to the tutee.
If you decide I'm the right fit for you it's
£45/hour thereafter. My tutees each have a supporting web page based around our sessions.

My daughter was dreading her Maths GCSE, but after only a few lessons with Adam she has become much more confident with the subject, taking on questions that had before appeared too difficult. Adam's lessons have been clear and fun. He is extremely patient, and I can highly recommend him as a Maths tutor.
