About Me
Hi my name Is Sara and I am a registered childminder based in Wibsey. I have an outstanding OFSTED report which I am very proud of. I am a chirpy fun loving, caring and an energetic person. I have three beautiful children of my own ages 31, 23, and 16. I also have an adorable little granddaughter who's 8. We have lots of giggles and laughs in our home and because of my easy going nature I feel this reflects on my own children as well as the children I care for.
Childminding is my passion and I provide a safe and nurturing home environment. I am a calm patient person with a good sense of humour with a commitment to providing a high standard of childcare. My Home is a safe, stimulating environment, with age appropriate learning opportunities and resources.
My Experience
I have worked in Nursery's and Primary Schools. I have always looked after and cared for children since I was a teenager. I have been a childminder since 2004 and have loved every minute of it . I am a small home from home setting with a passion for childminding and absolutely love what I do.
My Qualifications
I have been graded outstanding twice by OFSTED and my most recent inspection was February 2026 under the new toolkit where I achieved a strong standard through the report. I am a qualified Nursery Nurse with a BTEC National Diploma in Early Years I have a NVQ level 4 in Children s Care Learning and Development. I am a gold member of childcare.co.uk which also includes public Liability Insurance. I have a Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding Certificates for Childminders. I also attend courses regularly and webinars. I enjoy these courses as they keep me updated with changes and informs me about new legislation's. I have written recommendations from parents and prospective parents are welcome to see these along with my certificates.
My Availability
I am available between 7.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday. I Pick up from Wibsey Nursery or wibsey primary school.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
I offer the government 30 hours free funding for children aged from 9 months +.
I charge £6.00 for any private, additional hours. I also offer term time only contracts, and school holiday care if you require it.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Wibsey Primary School

Sara has been an amazing childminder for our little girl. She has thrived in her care. I am dreading the day she has to move on as every day I go to work I feel reassured that she is happy and well looked after. Returning to work after maternity leave is very daunting and Sara accommodated a built up transition period which meant our little girl was well settled by the time I went back to work fully.
Sara is kind, nurturing and offers lots of different activities. We couldn’t ask for anymore.

Well what can I say , sara has both my little boys 3 days a week and my boys absolutely love coming !
Sara is amazing with them and they have come along so much in the last year.
Sara is such a bubbly person she puts alot into her work its not just looking after children for the day it's like a home from home safe place were I'm more than happy to take and leave my children ,
Overall a loving clean safe environment and by far the best childminder about !

My son has been with sarah for over a year now and he loves it that much he never wants to come home when settling him in he cried at first when leaving him and now he cries to stay when I go to collect him.Sarah is amazing with the children my son has learnt so much already including to be kind ,caring and sharing.Ive never had any issues or problems in any area I myself dont want him to leave wish I could keep him with sarah forever.

I have had both my children in with Sarah since they were both little babies. Sara is a fantastic childminder with all the happiness, enthusiasm and patience in the world. Both my girls are treated like part of the family by all Sara’s family. Her husband and her children all welcome my children into the family as much as Sara does. She is passionate and puts the children first in everything she does. I couldn’t think of a better person to leave my children with. Sara keeps me updated during the day of how my children are and sends me photos of them having fun. Both my girls absolutely worship Sara and both love going to her house. Her home really has been transformed and she welcomes children into her home like they are her own.
