About Me

I am a reliable, family orientated, career nanny and married mum of two. I have 28 years of childcare experience in a variety of settings but find nannying suits me the best as you really get to know and care for the children and family.
My daughters are 9y and 14y and now rarely come to work with me as they are obviously mostly at school (Brook and Wye).
I live between Ashford and Canterbury in a lovely rural location.
As a family we spend a lot of time going on woodland or beach walks and generally getting out and about.

My Experience

My employment in childcare has been primarily as a nanny but also as a classroom assistant, youth worker on a cruise ship and playgroup assistant. I currently work as a nanny and do some voluntary work in a local school listening to readers or helping at forest school. At times I have done ironing and cleaning for families.
I have worked with a range of ages from 6 months to seventeen years.
Since having my own children I definitely have a better understanding of babies and toddlers and now tweens.

My Qualifications

I have a BTEC National Diploma in Early Childhood Education and A levels. I have an up to date enhanced dbs certificate and 12 hour paediatric first aid certificate.
This would make becoming OFSTED registered a simple process should a family require it.
Excellent references available on request.

My Availability

I am available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between approximately 9a.m. and 3p.m.
