About Me
I am a 41 year old single mom of two originally from sunny South Africa (I have lived in the UK since 2009) with my now 19 year old son and my 3 year old daughter who has additional needs . I am also a working mom. I work for the NHS across two local hospital sites in Swale. My daughter has Global Developmental Delay and Motor Delay and has recently had her official diagnosis of ASD.
My 2 children and I live together in our lovely little home in Queenborough.
My Requirements
I am looking for an Ofsted Registered Childminder who absolutely needs to have SEN qualifications/experience and has the passion and determination that it takes to support a child with additional needs. The setting/registered childminder will also get additional funding and support.
My required days are:
Wednesday Full Day,
Thursday Full Day,
Friday Full Day
Times would need to be confirmed once I know the location of the childminder setting where my daughter will be attending, as I will then be able to work out travel times, etc.
This would be all year round (excluding your annual leave and closures, of course).
If you offer babysitting services as well, that would be another added bonus. These are not essential.
I am looking at The Isle of Sheppey, preferably.
We would need to officially start around the end of March beginning of April 2024 with some settling in time leading up to that date if possible.
My daughter is absolutely lovely. She is the sweetest little angel in the world who just needs that little bit of extra help. I am very conscious of the stability and routine that she needs in order to feel safe and secure, and therefore, I am hoping to find her "forever childcare home" that will continue as she grows older and eventually goes to school needing before and after school care as well as holiday care.
