About Me
Hi my name is Victoria and I live in Simshill with my husband, our 11 year old boy Christopher and 9 year old girl Emma. I am devoted to providing a stimulating experience for the children in my care. I will do this by offering a range of activities such as: Arts and crafts, Baking, Outdoor/ physical play and much more. I will also make use of local services, such as libraries, parks and playgroups. I will give parents feedback on their child's day with use of daily report sheet or what suits the parent and verbal feedback. My home is a non smoking and pet free home. I have a fully enclosed and child friendly back garden which can be used all year round.
My Experience
I have 15 Years experience working in childcare, ranging from babies to pre school age.which I very much enjoy. My main experience is from working as a nursery nurse. I now also enjoy being a mother. I have been childminding for 10 years now, and have taken great pleasure providing well rounded care in a home environment, and have always received positive feedback from both parents and children.

SVQ Early years Care and Education level 3. Basic food hygiene certificate.

Victoria has been my daughter's childminder for over a year now and she and her family have been wonderful. My daughter adores them and it is with great reluctance that we have to leave. Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances we no longer need Victoria. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Victoria as she genuinely cares for my daughter and has helped her through her very important second year. Not to mention the delicious home cooked lunches which my daughter loves.

My two year old son has been going to Victoria's three days a week for the past year and a half and has absolutely loved it there. I have had bad experiences with untrustworthy childminders in the past but Victoria restored my faith right from day one. She has provided a wide range of fun activities at home including plenty of outdoor exercise in her lovely garden and different parks. She makes a diary each day of play times, meals eaten and nap times along with any extra info. Victoria has encouraged my son through everything from potty training to eating foods that he wouldn't even entertain at home! My son will be starting nursery which is the only reason he won't be going any more - he would go to Victoria's every day if he could, the only part of the day he doesn't enjoy is home time when I come to pick him up and he needs to leave! She has been very flexible with me over time and I have been so happy to leave my son in her care knowing how happy and supported he has been.
