Hello, my name is Jaskaren and I am an Ofsted outstanding registered childminder based in Finchampstead. I work alongside my registered assistant, my daughter Jade. Allowing us to provide a warm, nurturing and highly personalised childcare experience where every child is treated as an individual.
Being a mother and daughter team is something we are incredibly proud of. We share the same values, work closely together every day and genuinely love what we do. We believe children benefit from the positive relationship, our partnership allows us to provide a calm, consistent and caring environment where children feel secure, valued and at home.
Our setting offers a true home from home environment where children feel safe, happy and supported. We have a dedicated playroom filled with a wide range of age appropriate toys and learning resources, a fully enclosed garden with outdoor play equipment, a mud kitchen and water play. We enjoy regular outings in the local community to support children's learning and development.
Freshly prepared home cooked meals and healthy snacks are provided each day, giving children a balanced diet while encouraging healthy eating habits from an early age.
Jade is an integral part of our setting, she brings a wealth of knowledge through her degree in children's learning and development. She plans engaging activities and crafts that follow the EYFS, helping every child learn through play whilst developing at their own pace.
Together we work as a team to ensure every child receives individual attention, encouragement and a consistent caring routine throughout the day.
We are proud to build long lasting relationships with our families, with many children remaining with us from their very first months until they start school. Open communication with parents is at the heart of what we do, we work closely as a team together to support each child's development.
We are delighted to have been awarded outstanding by Ofsted, written references from our families are available to view during a visit to our home
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for over 25 years and have raised my two daughters who are now adults. During my career I have cared for children from the age of 3 months through to secondary school age
Many of the families who join us remain with us until their children begin their journey to school. Allowing us to build strong, trusting relationships with both the child and parents. We pride ourselves on providing a warm, nurturing home from home environment, working partnership with parents to ensure every child thrives.
My Qualifications
We are committed to continually developing our knowledge and skills to provide the highest standard of childcare.
I hold a NQV level 3 in children's care, learning and development. I regularly attend training courses, including paediatric first aid, safeguarding, food hygiene and other relevant childcare training to ensure my knowledge remains up to date
My registered assistant completed her BA hone degree in children's learning and development. Together we combine many years of practical experience with current knowledge of child development and the EYFS, enabling us to provide high quality, nurturing and individual care for every child.
My Availability
We are available Monday to Friday from 7:30am until 6:00pm. Earlier starts or later finishes can be discussed where possible, and we always aim to be flexible as we can to support the needs of our families.
We offer full time and part time childcare for children 0-5 years old, subject to availability.
