? Are you a mindful childminder seeking a rewarding opportunity? ?

I'm currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated childminder to join our family dynamic in Stourbridge. Here are the details:

? OFSTED registered or in the process of applying
? Before and after school care during term time
? Availability for full days during half-terms, with exceptions for pre-booked holidays or when the girls are with their dad
? No weekends or bank holidays, unless there's occasional interest
? Care required for a 7-year-old girl on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (after school only), and Friday; and a 13-year-old girl throughout the week
? Travel expenses negotiable for non-driving individuals

In our home, we prioritize a nurturing environment that emphasizes not only physical but also mental well-being. Screen time and all kind of sweets/ chocolates, etc are strictly limited during care.

We believe in an empathetic approach to communication with children. "Timeout" isn't in our vocabulary. Instead, we encourage open dialogue and understanding. When emotions run high, we embrace them with patience and empathy, providing a safe space for expression. We've found inspiration in books like "How to Talk So Little Kids Will Listen" and "How to Talk So Teens Will Listen and Listen So Teens Will Talk." and any books / podcast or training of Shefali Tsabary.
