About Me

I'm currently seeking a mindful, compassionate, and dedicated childminder/ nanny in Bromsgrove ara (however, school is in Stourbridge).

Here are the details:

* Preferably OFSTED registered, however don't need to be.
* After school care during term time - from Stourbridge @ 3:15pm until 6pm max (very rarely few minutes after 6pm)
* Picking up from holiday club during school breaks - from Bromsgrove @ 4pm until 6pm max (very rarely few minutes after 6pm)
* Care required for an 8-year-old girl on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (if Friday possible it would be great from 4:20pm until 5pm-5:30pm max, but most of the time no Fridays)
* No weekends or bank holidays or Eid (as my workplace is closed down for these celebrations).
* We are living in Bromsgrove surrounding B61

In our home, we prioritize a nurturing environment that emphasizes not only physical but also mental well-being. Screen time and all kinds of sweets/ chocolates, etc, are strictly limited during care.

I believe in an empathetic approach to communication with children. "Timeout" isn't in our vocabulary. Instead, I encourage open dialogue and understanding. When emotions run high, I embrace them with patience and empathy, providing a safe space for expression. I've found inspiration in books like "How to Talk So Little Kids Will Listen" and "How to Talk So Teens Will Listen and Listen So Teens Will Talk." and any books / podcasts or training of Shefali Tsabary, Gabo Mate, etc.

I'm looking for someone who values growth and connection, creating a nurturing space where the child feels seen, heard, and understood.
