About Me

Hello, my name’s Cassy and I’m the General Manager of Childsplay Childcare.

I live at Churchway with my husband and 3 children.

Childsplay Childcare consists of 2 settings, Childsplay Churchway and Childsplay St Mary’s, both providing high quality, home from home care to under 5s and school aged children in the village of Haddenham.

Each setting has a Setting Manager, Senior Assistant & Assistant.

Opening hours at both settings are Monday-Thursday: 7.30am-4.30pm.

The settings:

We provide a breakfast and after school club for the village schools.

Throughout the school day we have a maximum of 3 under 5s per adult and ages range from 6 months to nearly 5.

In both locations, we pride ourselves on providing a child led, home from home environment where the toys and outdoor areas are always accessible and children have free rein to choose what activities interest them the most.

We aim to gently encourage children to learn to play well together whilst respecting each other’s boundaries and belongings. We don’t believe in punishment or raising my voice.

Payments:

We charge £67.50 per day. Childcare vouchers and tax free childcare payments are accepted.

I also provide free childcare in line with the government eligibility requirements. Feel free to ask for more info.

We invoice in advance, around the middle of the month to give plenty of time for payment which is due on the last day of each month.

All food (breakfast, lunch and snacks), nappies and wipes are provided. We ask you to provide spare clothes, baby milk (if applicable) and weather appropriate outdoor clothes.

There is no charge when the setting is closed for annual leave or sickness but bank holidays are charged in full.

The setting is not open on bank holidays and we will close for a maximum of 4 weeks a year, giving a minimum of 4 weeks notice (although we usually try to give a few months!).
