Raquel has been a really fantastic nanny to my 20 month old son – reliable, trustworthy, fun and lively and a lovely person to hang out with. She took really good care of him and he adored her. Very sad to see her go!

Fantastic Nanny!!

Raquel has been our nanny for the last 10 months looking after my son (3 1/2) and daughter (1 1/2). She has been the most wonderful addition to our family and we are so sad to see her go (we are moving out of London to the south coast to be closer to family and open spaces). From the moment she arrived our children fell in love with her sparkle and energy. She's such a natural with kids and they were having all kinds of fantastic fun right from day one.

For two working parents to have a nanny that you completely trust and who is incredibly reliable is so important. We could walk out the door every morning feeling like we could just get on with the day as we knew that the kids were safe and extremely happy.

Our kids love spending time with Raquel and they learn so much from her background and her love of music and the arts. Both children now drop spanish into their general conversation. Raquel only speaks to our little girl in spanish and although she can only say a few words she understands so much more. Raquel will tell her to go and pick up her shoes in spanish and off she will go toddling towards the door to find them! Our son can sing in spanish. count, and carry on basic conversations (he speaks to some spanish kids at his nursery). He also now loves to listen to opera and ballet music on Spotify and is always wanting to show off what he calls his "ballet moves".

Raquel is punctual, reliable and incredibly helpful with all the other house hold jobs and chores that need doing in a day.

She is easy to get along with and we have not only loved the kids relationship with her but also our own - chatting at the end of the day about her family back home or finding out about the next wonderful art exhibition she is off to see.

We have never been happier as parents as we have been since we have had Raquel to help us out. She has taken away the burden of wondering each day if our kids are alright. Most days at work we get the most beautiful Whatsapp messages (she is a brilliant photographer btw) of our little children getting up to all types of fun. It melts your heart and gives you the lift you need to get you through to the end of the day.

We couldn't recommend Raquel highly enough. She has been a godsend and we will all miss her dearly!

Raquel is a natural...

Raquel was our nanny for over the entire summer (2013). We were in London and expats (from New York) and I was initially looking for a babysitter. As soon as I met Raquel I could tell that she was naturally inclined to be wonderful with children. Our son doesn't take to new nannies right away, and within minutes she broke through.

Raquel was responsible, timely, kind and playful. She was able to get down to our son's level and play superheroes, while maintaining our rules and preparing meals. She was very exact her how she reported his activities throughout the day, and was able to deal with his temper with no issues. I only wish I could have brought her back to New York with us. Our son still asks if Raquel is coming over to play!

Super Nanny!

Raquel has been babysitting my 8-monthold for three whole days while I was working in London. She was very good in all ways; punctual, caring, secure, flexible, comforting for me and full of love for my little one. I can really recommend Raquel to everybody who needs a warmhearted and mature babysitter :-)
