About Me
Hi my name is Sharon and im a term time only childminder. I'm married and we have 17 year old twins . I have been a child minder for 23 years but worked with children since leaving school many years ago.
I have 2 full time spaces available , I work term time only so offer discount for school holidays. I have all the relevant training which is required by CSSIW which include - Paediatric first aid, child protection, food hygiene, enhanced CRB, public liability insurance, I have a level 3 diploma in childcare learning and development. I hold a full clean driving licence and I have business insurance on my car.We are non-smokers and we do have a pet Hungarian vizsla called Jake who is fantastic with the children.
I provide a warm and welcoming environment for the children and also the parents. I have a dedicated playroom which has been professionally painted with children in mind, we have a cosy story corner, Welsh and English alphabet around the top of the picture rail also shapes painted on the wall to encourage the children to recognize shapes and colours.
We attend toddler groups and cylch Ti a Fi, visits to local parks and the library also soft play. All activities are included within my fees as is breakfast, lunch and all snacks. Please contact me to arrange a visit to meet us and discuss any questions you may have.

My Experience
The best experience i have is being a mum, ive also worked in a nursery when i left school and i worked as a nanny.
My Qualifications
I have just finished a level 3 diploma in childcare learning and development i also hold a PPA qualification.
I am also training to be a dyslexic therapist.

My daughter has been cared for by Sharon ‘before and after’ school for the last 7 years. Sharon is truly amazing. She is so caring, patient and totally reliable. As a working single mum, Sharon has been a massive support to me - knowing that my daughter is well cared for whilst I’m at work. But more than that, my daughter loves spending time there. There’s always something interesting planned for the children, including water play, crafts, trips out and visits from Santa! In my opinion, you couldn’t get a better childminder.

Sharon is a fantastic childminder. Our daughter had a bad experience at a local nursery. A friend recommended Sharon and our lives changed. Our daughter settled quickly and with Sharon's kind and nurturing ways her confidence returned. I had complete trust in Sharon, the activities she provided were always educational and fun. I could go to work everyday knowing that my daughter was safe and secure. Our daughter is now in school and misses Sharon. We were very lucky to find her.

Sharon is the perfect childminder. I went back to work when my son was 9 months old and Sharon made the transition as easy as it could have been. My son was happy there from day 1. He always loved being with Sharon, who provides an excellent environment for little ones to flourish. The playroom is lovely and my son loved the garden. Sharon would take him to softplay and the park regularly. Each day at “Sha’s House” is really varied and fun. I always felt confident leaving my son with her and knew that I would pick up a happy boy at the end of the day. I would highly recommend Sharon and think that all children in her care are incredibly lucky!

My 5 year old goes to Sharon's after school and absolutely loves going there. He is often disappointed if I manage to finish work early!!
He is always happy to see her and excited on the mornings he knows she will be picking him up.
Sharon's house is full of toys and they are always doing fun things.
My son also loves seeing the animals as we have no pets at home!
I would recommend Sharon to anyone and trust her implicitly to look after my son.

Sharon is fantastic with our daughter who has additional needs. She’s kind, patient and always there when we need her. She’s always positive and finds a solution to difficult situations with a great attitude. We feel lucky to have her as or childminder.
