Are you a compassionate, proactive, and dependable person with a great sense of humour and a love for animals? We're looking for a Personal Assistant to support our bright and creative Daughter in Loughborough (LE11) to build independence, confidence, and life skills, and we have two friendly dogs to keep you company!
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You’ll be supporting our neurodivergent young adult daughter (22) living with a range of hidden disabilities including Autism, anxiety, PoTS, and chronic fatigue. Your role will help them build a structured routine, develop daily living skills, and engage with the local community, including exploring volunteer opportunities.
HOURS:
• 8 hours per week to start, afternoons only.
• Flexible days/times to be agreed.
TASKS INCLUDE:
• Helping to structure daily routines
• Supporting with household skills
• Accompanying to local activities and volunteering
• Offering encouragement, emotional support, and positive energy
• Being comfortable around our two lovely dogs (and hopefully you like cats too!)

PAY:
• £17/hour (self-employed)
• £13.21/hour (employed)
WHAT WE OFFER (for employed PAs):
• 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata)
• Pension contributions
• DBS check paid by the funding authority
This is a permanent position and can be either employed or self-employed.
